A self-proclaimed foodie, Tubby Toms started in Summer 2014 when Tom made his first batch of BBQ sauce and sold it as his local farm shop. It sold so well, he decided to take the first steps into making his passion his business and when he wasn’t cooking the sauce he was out at farmers markets selling it and contacting shops to get it stocked. Getting listed in Harvey Nichols led to nationwide exposure for Tom and expansion. 2024 marked 10 years of Tubby Toms, which he celebrated with his sell out event, TubbyFest, a collab with Honest Burgers and an appearance on Sunday Brunch which led to 500 orders in 8 minutes! As of 2026, Tubby Tom is still selling massive amounts of his sauce and signature dust, hosting sell out cookery courses and regularly appearing at premier BBQ events across the UK.
He’s joined by purveyor of sensational sausage, Alasdair Clark. After spending 15 years working as a chef, in a wide range of restaurants he decided to create a sausage which is exciting to eat, throw the rule book out and break boundaries with it! He prides himself on utilising fresh seasonal ingredients which educate the customer at the same time.
